Vintage Vinyl

They have a really helpful staff that is really activie in the local music sceen. There is a really local home feel about this place. The have an excellent selection of vinyl records. However they also carry cds and dvds. The best thing is that those hard to find cds you usually have to buy on the internet they always have.

This is a great record shop located in the heart of the loop. Any time I need to find something that is difficult to find I have great luck here. If you are in love with musicand recordsyouc ould easily spend an entire afternoon just looking through all they have. Huge selection, fair prices, and great staff! Very pleased!

Vintage Vinyl is a store with personality, hand-drawn signs marking out all of the genres, and staff picks and recommendations ubiquitous through the store. The store also has frequent events with musicians doing signings and other things. Excellent location for music hunters, in University City's Loop, not far from Washington University. Their classical section is often interesting, but fairly small and somewhat out of kilter regarding pricing--too much for some items, and the corresponding occasional steal on others. It's good for the rare item, but not genuinely excellent. More a store for all kinds of popular music, selling t-shirts and DVDs as well.

If you're a music lover and looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, you need to go to Vintage Vinyl in the U-City Loop. They've got new and used cd's, tapes and albums that cater to everyone's taste.

The patrons and staff are diverse (from business attire to tattooed, multi-hued haired) and it's as much fun to people watch as it is to look at the music selections.

If you're wanting to sell or trade your cd's or movies, they also offer this service. They trade or sell fairly, so that's not an issue and if you decide to trade, you'll get more for your products than just flat out selling to them.

A big part of the attraction to Vintage Vinyl is that the store seems to attract big names in music to come and do live shows and sign autographs. It's not uncommon to venture in to find a new release and see a mini-concert going on.

Just want you want in a record store. A little rock and roll attitude with a great selection of both vinyl and cds. They definately have the best prices in town for the casual collector of vinyl, with enough first-run indie releases to satisfy as well. You won't leave empty handed.

This is a great place to come and get music and movies. Vintage Vinyl is located in the Loop and has many titles to choose from. I went in here a few days ago looking for a certain album, but I couldn't find it. The staff here was very helpful in ordering this item for me and it should be in any day now. That is one of the reasons I like this shop so much, because they will go out of there way to get what you the customer wants.

This is one of my Favorites in St. Louis. This place has such a feeling to it, so ecclectic. They have music there that you will not find in other stores. In a world where everything is bought on the internet, this place rocks. What an awesome find. I have bought several House recording there and have been pleased, even have seen some artists there. LOVE IT!!!

Vintage Vinyl is one of the last independent record stores in the St. Louis area. They have a great selection of everything related to music: new or used. They have a bunch of great stuff that you won't find anywhere else and the staff will find it for you if they don't have. They are located right in the loop. Also, make sure that you check out there rocking instore performances - you are sure to see a variety of interesting musicians as well.

Looking for a rare cd, go here! They have everything! This is a great music store. They dont try to do everything, just music. They also have all the info on concerts. Its definitely a big collection of stuff, so it can be hard to find a particular cd, so just ask. Theyre usually willing to help you.
